Adam Mardel (born Adam D. Carpenter on April 27th, 1989 in
Arlington, Texas) is an accomplished American singer and
songwriter who began his career on the songwriting circuit. After
signing his first publishing deal at the age of nineteen Adam
began building up both his music catalogue as well as his
experience, making numerous television, and public appearances.
One of which led to the introduction of his musical mentor,
Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning songwriter R.
Phillips.
In the summer of 2010 Adam signed as a recording artist under
executive producer Jason Lee Jacobs’ label Eleven Twelve Records.
The first official single released on Eleven Twelve Records was
“Hypnotized” in August of 2011. The song quickly became popular
with Alternative/Dance crowds reaching CD Baby’s “Top Synth-Pop
Songs” peaking at number six. Following the release of the song
Adam embarked on a tour of the mid-west, opening for many well
known acts including Adam Calvert of MTV’s “Taking the Stage” and
Island Def Jam’s Romance on a Rocketship.
In early 2012 Eleven Twelve Records released Adam’s most
successful song to date entitled “Freak Boy.” The song was more
electro-dance influenced and caught the attention of audiences. A
week after its release the song topped CD Baby’s “Top Synth-Pop
Songs,” “Top Electronic-Dance Songs,” Top Out and Proud Songs,”
and “Top Dance Songs” staying in the top ten for five weeks. The
song was endorsed by Atlanta based Unbound Apparel and was also
performed by male illusionist Gage Gatlyn during the performer’s
national tour.
Currently, Adam is working on new material that is set to be
released in 2013. The new record will include some surprising
musical collaborations. Expect the unexpected.
